Athro is the fourth rank in Garou society. Most Garou die in battle before they reach this rank. An Athro is a veteran of many battles and has proven herself by succesfully fullfilling one or more sept positions. Athro are generally well known outside their own sept and called upon by Elders and junior members of their tribe to help out should things go amiss in another sept.
Should an ambitious Athro prove herself worthy, she may challenge for the rank of Elder.
